Course Summary
Youth training is about building strong foundations — physically, mentally, and emotionally. This course helps fitness professionals understand how to safely and effectively train children and adolescents using evidence-based principles that support long-term athletic development (LTAD). Coaches will learn how to create fun, engaging, and progressive sessions that build confidence, coordination, and lifelong movement literacy.

By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
– Explain growth and maturation processes and their effect on training.
– Apply developmentally appropriate strength and conditioning methods.
– Coach with safety, inclusivity, and motivation in mind.
– Design LTAD-based programmes that encourage long-term participation.
