Course Summary
Recovery is the foundation of adaptation, performance, and long-term progress. Without adequate rest, even the best training programme fails to deliver results. This course explores the physiology of recovery, the science of sleep, and how stress regulation influences health, mood, and performance. Coaches will learn how to monitor recovery using practical tools, coach better sleep hygiene, and integrate structured recovery into client programming.
By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
– Explain the physiological processes that occur during recovery and sleep.
– Identify signs of overtraining and under-recovery.
– Apply recovery monitoring tools such as HRV and RPE.
– Coach clients in improving sleep quality and recovery routines.
