Blended learning, or hybrid learning, is a method of teaching that integrates technology and digital media with traditional instructor-led activities or workshops. This allows students more flexibility to customize their learning experience.
The blended learning option at Physical IQ will involve the student completing the theoretical aspects of their studies online through our Online Learning Portal. There will then be scheduled practical workshops held at various venues around the country. These practical workshops will cover the key aspects of practical training that we believe best equip the student to be prepared for the work environment they will be entering. Not only will you be able to interact with an experienced and well-trained lecturer, but you will also be able to interact with classmates and colleagues while learning.
Please see our campus sites to determine whether blended learning is available in your region.
The Personal Trainer course is provided to accredit school-leavers who have attained a matric qualification, or prospective students
with NQF level 4 qualifications, with a recognised health and fitness course at an NQF level 5.
The course will use South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) Unit Standards (US) as its means of ensuring alignment with South African requirements. The qualification will use CATHSSETA as the quality assurance body.
